99FT is led by a team of very experienced financial services executives who have advised, built and operated global fintech companies. Comprised of former CEOs, CFOs, CRO, a regulator, and partners from the largest consulting firms in the world. The 99FT team has previously launched and stood up fully regulated, operational fintech, payments and lending solutions in under 12 months. We can either co-own and (in the interim or permanently) manage the holdings or incubate them with or for client partners and acquirers. Once complete, projects can be transitioned to the sponsor, sold to investors, or in some cases retained by 99FT as an asset in 99FT Asset Co.

Brian is a 35-year veteran of the payments and fintech industry. He has served as a fintech CEO, board member and advisory board member (including for larger payments companies) and as a Global Chief Strategy Officer and CEO for a publicly traded international payments company, fintech and lender.
Previously, Brian was the founding Partner of Deloitte’s globally top-ranked payments practice where he grew it across 64 countries. He successfully helped the C-suite of large global companies implement high-visibility, complex payments, fintech and banking strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and operations and technology initiatives. These include large credit card issuers, merchant acquirers, networks, payments processors, private equity, corporates, hospitals, insurance companies, government entities and merchants. Prior to Deloitte, Brian was a partner and consultant at several other advisory firms including BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen, focusing on fintech and payments. In 2001, he was recognized as an innovator of the year by Fortune for introducing approaches for B2B equity-based payments and has continued to innovate and launch new fintech products since then. His educational background includes undergraduate, graduate and master’s degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Organizational Management, and Banking from California State University – Northridge and University of Wisconsin – Madison, and post-graduate programs including Harvard Business School and the Army War College.

Gary brings 30+ years’ experience in financial services as a fintech practitioner, regulator, banker and consultant towards the development of safe and sustainable payment, deposit, and lending solutions. Most recently, Gary served as the US Chief Product and Compliance Officer for an international point of sale lending company where he developed the product strategy, Americanized the firm’s platform and market approach, built a compliance management system, and helped to stand up a working enterprise in only 10 months.
Gary previously led policymaking efforts related to consumer payments, deposits, unsecured credit, and data aggregation at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he served for 9 years. Among his accomplishments at the Bureau were creating the CFPB’s Consumer Protection Principles for both Faster Payment Systems and Consumer-Authorized Data Access; bringing substantial transparency to checking account overdraft by authoring groundbreaking publications and amending bank call reports; and publishing the Bureau’s Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Section 1033. Gary was also a leading proponent and designer of U.S. real-time payments, serving on the Steering Committee of the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force as well as the Fed’s Governance Framework Formation Team.
Prior to joining the CFPB, Gary was co-founder and Partner at Capital Performance Group, a financial services strategy consultancy with a focus on launching new businesses and products, distribution planning, and performance improvement. Earlier in his career, Gary held roles at Furash & Company, Signet Bank, Coopers & Lybrand, and Andersen Consulting. Gary has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and BS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.

Rishi is a seasoned management consultant with over 20 years of experience across multiple industries, specializing in payments and lending. He has successfully assisted clients with new product launches, market entries, organic and inorganic growth strategies, innovation, M&A (pre-deal due diligence, and post-merger integration), and operating model design. Previously, Rishi held the position of VP of Product Strategy at a fintech firm focused on treasury management and payments, and he also served as a Senior Manager at a big-4 consulting firm.
Throughout his career, Rishi has worked extensively across the payments and lending value chain, collaborating with various stakeholders including banks, payment networks, payment providers, merchants, and corporates. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business, and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Varanasi.

Michael combined a foundational career in finance/analytics, operations, program management, strategy consulting and technology and time as an entrepreneur to successfully lead a number of fintech teams as Head of Product and/or General Manager/P&L owner.
Experiences include leading the product team at Coinstar where, among other accomplishments, he rolled out and managed what became the world’s largest Bitcoin ATM network, helped double Coinstar's banking channels, and rolled out a push-to-card deposit product in partnership with a bank sponsor. Additionally, he gained board approval to launch Coinstar-branded financial products including fiat and crypto wallets, debit card products and helped build out an in-house compliance program.
Prior to that he was General Manager of Cardpool, a gift card marketplace owned by Blackhawk Network. He also led client engagement and product at Nexxo Financial (acquired by MoneyGram), rolling out white-label underbanked kiosk and SaaS platforms as Nexxo pivoted from a D2C international remittance company. His earlier roles include leading a ~500 person, largely outsourced, application development team at an insurance company, leading cross-functional programs, technology, and operations team at a credit card company, launching a small business credit card, analyst/product roles at a bank and time as a strategy consultant.
Michael has an MBA from the University of North Carolina and graduated with a BS in Finance from Indiana University in the honors program.
